Granite & Marble Pattern Epoxy Application Process
Watch real on-site application videos showing the handcrafted artistic marble veining technique and the high-gloss crystal protective topcoat curing:
Marble & Granite Handcrafted Vein Technique
While the base epoxy resin is still fluid, our master craftsmen draw natural organic marble vein patterns using contrasting metallic and pearlescent pigments.
Crystal Surface & Mirror Glass Reflection
Following the UV-resistant clear protective aliphatic coat, the room gains a seamless, crystal-clear floor reflecting ceiling fixtures with zero waviness.

What is Marble Pattern Epoxy (Liquid Marble)?
Marble pattern epoxy floor coating (often known commercially as Liquid Marble) is a bespoke monolithic flooring craft where high-grade thermoset epoxy resins are custom blended on-site with metallic, mica, and pearlescent pigments. Rather than installing pre-cut slabs, master artisans manipulate pigments directly over the floor as a living canvas.
Every single square meter is completely unique. Upon complete cure, the finish achieves the optical depth of rare quarried Italian marbles like Carrara, Calacatta, and Nero Marquina—completely free of coldness, porosity, and dirt-accumulating grout lines. Comparison: Natural Stone Marble vs. Liquid Marble Epoxy
Comparing the high maintenance, weight, and fragility of traditional slab marble against the performance of liquid marble epoxy:
| Comparison Metric | Natural Stone Marble Slabs | Liquid Marble Epoxy Flooring |
|---|---|---|
| Joints & Grout Lines | Grout every 60–120 cm. Darkens with time and harbors dirt and mold. | 100% seamless monolithic surface. Continuous mirror reflections. |
| Acid & Stain Resistance | Highly porous; etches and stains permanently from coffee, wine, lemon, or vinegar. | Zero porosity. Complete impervious barrier to household acids and cleaning agents. |
| Weight & Building Load | 60 – 90 kg / m² structural load. Requires structural clearance on high-rise buildings. | Only 2.5 – 3.5 kg / m². Practically negligible dead weight. |
| Crack & Impact Resistance | Prone to hairline fractures along fault lines; difficult and costly to replace single slabs. | High flexural tensile strength; absorbs heavy foot traffic without breaking. |
| Demolition / Over-Tile | Requires loud, messy jackhammering and debris haulage of existing tiles. | Can be applied directly over existing tiles, ceramic, terrazzo, or concrete screed. |
| 2026 m² Turnkey Cost | 70 € – 250 € / m² (Stone + Demolition + Transport + Mortar) | 28 € – 45 € / m² (Full Turnkey Materials + Artistry Labor) |

Frequently Asked Questions
Is liquid marble epoxy slippery?
Despite its mirror-like gloss, dry epoxy actually provides equal or higher traction than polished granite or ceramic tile. For wet areas such as showers and spa bathrooms, micronized spherical slip-resistant beads can be mixed into the topcoat for certified R10/R11 slip protection.
Can it be installed over existing ceramic tiles?
Yes! No demolition or tile removal is required. We diamond-grind the tile glaze, fill grout indentations with structural epoxy compound, apply an adhesion-promoting bond coat, and pour the liquid marble seamlessly on top.
Will it yellow over time near windows?
No. We seal the art layer with non-yellowing aliphatic polyurethane crystal clear coats that contain advanced UV light absorbers, ensuring complete color stability even under direct sunlight.
